We are a Air B and B style Inn, we use a self check in and out system and you may not see any staff during your stay with us
Cancellations: Should it become necessary to cancel with us, we will refund your reservation 50%, minus a $35.00 processing fee, if the cancellation occurs more than 14 days prior to your arrival. If you cancel within 14 days of your arrival, your reservation will ONLY be refunded if we are able to re-sell your room minus the $35.00 processing fee. This cancellation policy does not apply to whole house bookings, or wedding stay bookings. Please call to inquire about our cancellation policy for whole house or wedding stays.
All rooms are located on the second floor accessible only by a flight of stairs.
All rooms come with air conditioning and heating.
Some rooms have high-sided deep soaking tubs; others have walk-in showers.
None of the rooms have TVs.
Guests may help themselves to the complimentary 24/7 snack room stocked with coffee, milk, juice, tea, yogurt, hot and cold cereals, crackers, soups, granola bars, chips, and more.
Free WiFi is available in the building.
If you would like to utilize the clay tennis courts, please bring your own rackets and tennis balls.
Pet Policy
No pets allowed. Service animals specifically trained to aid a person with a disability are welcome.
Smoking Policy
We are a non-smoking building; violations to this rule will be subject to a cleaning fee of $250 or more. Smoking is permitted outside at the parking lot.
The Bellows Room 1
This spacious room has a view over the wedding garden. Named after Col. Benjamin Bellows, founder of Bellows Falls, VT, the room features a queen bed with European pillow shams, down comforters, and quilted blankets. There is a gas fireplace stove for added ambiance and comfort. An en suite bath with shower completes the experience.
Chesterfield Room 3
A soft peach color paint color, with numerous windows and views over the woods to the Connecticut River Valley farms beyond. The queen bed features European pillows shams, down comforters and quilted blankets. The gas fireplace stove supplies added comfort and the full bath, with deep tub and shower, completes the experience.
Westmoreland Room 5
A lovely, intimate room in a quiet blue historic paint. The view is over the Inn entrance and the tennis courts. European pillows shams, down comforters and quilted blankets compliment the queen bed. An en suite bath with shower completes the ensemble.
Charlestown Room 7
An intimate room in soft gray, contrasted by an exposed brick wall. The view past the entrance includes the gardens below. European pillow shams, down comforters, and quilted blankets compliment the queen bed. The adjoining bath has a shower.
The Walpole Room 2
A spacious room, decorated in Robin’s egg blue, features three windows overlooking the grande entrance and the tennis courts beyond. The queen bed is fitted with European pillows shams, down comforters and quilted blankets. A gas fireplace stove and en suite bath with shower complete the Walpole.
The Alstead Room 4
Painted in a historic soft sage green, this room has numerous windows and a view over the Connecticut River Valley scenery. A daybed, in addition to the queen bed, increases the maximum capacity to three. European pillows shams, down comforters and quilted blankets accentuate the decor. There is an en suite bath with tub and shower.
The Langdon Room 6
A bright, sunny, yellow room, with views of the Connecticut River Valley. The queen bed is decorated with European pillow shams, down comforters and quilted blankets. The bath has a tub and shower.
The Marlow Room 8
The end room, with exposed brick and views out the back of the inn toward the Connecticut River Valley farms, done in a soft putty color; queen bed and European pillows shams, down comforters and quilted blankets; and ensuite bath with tub and shower.
